TheJefferson Falcons Ladies Varsity Track Team won the LaBrae Invitational yesterday and took home the trophy with an impressive Team effort. Maddie Pierce earned the Meet MVP trophy with 25 points by scoring First Place in 4 events (100 m hurdles, 300 m hurdles, 4×200 m relay, 4×400 m relay).
Other athletes who scored first place points were :
Tracy Squatrito (23 points) in the 4×200, 4×400, 400 m. Tracy also took second in 200 m
Taylor Skinner (19 points) in the 4×200, 4×400, and 2nd place 400m, 3rd place 200 m
Avery Arendas (15.5 points) in the 4×100, 4×200, 4×400 and 2nd place 100 m
Kelsey Sidley, Destiny Switzer and Morgan Smith were also on 4×100 first place relay. Morgan (9 points) also placed 3rd in High Jump and 8th in Long Jump

Other high point scorer’s were:
Allison Wintz (18 points) with 2nd place 3200m, 3rd place 1600 m and 5th place 800m
Claire Allen (9 points) was 2nd in shot and 8th in discus
Leora Marunowski (9 points) was 5th in shot and 4th in discus
Riley Dietrich (4.5 points) was 6th in 3200 m and 7th in high jump
